About me

Hi, my name is Louise Mc Grath-Lone – former teacher, current PhD candidate and aspiring public health researcher. My background is in science education but, after a few years teaching in London, I decided I could do more good and have more impact outside of the classroom. I re-trained in public health in 2012 and since then I have been conducting quantitative and qualitative research on health and social care outcomes. I am currently a research associate at University College London where I am analysing administrative health data to explore the burden of childhood adversity among children in England.

You can read more about my research and teaching experience here.
